Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the 8th installment of the Skywalker saga of George Lucas’s classic space opera. It follows the last of the Resistance as they are in a constant run away from Snoke, the leader of the evil First Order. Meanwhile we pick up where we left off with Rey meeting Luke Skywalker at the first Jedi temple, as she seeks to be trained in the force.

I won’t lie, I really dislike this movie. I should mention that I am a huge Star Wars fan, like I am very much a nerd about it. The biggest problem with this film is the pacing. It is so damn slow. I also have a huge issue with how they treated Luke Skywalker. In the original trilogy, Luke is a very likable character who learns to respect the force. In this film he takes the old hermit a little too far. He is so unlikable in this movie even when he tries to be wise again. The plot has some awful mistakes in it also, but that is something you can easily see for yourself.

I really don’t want to talk about this movie much longer because I have pretty much nothing positive except for a few visual effects that were genius. Watch this movie if you haven’t already. JJ please don’t let us down.
